Global_Warming_Political_Cartoon_06.04.jpg

(Dan Wasserman, Tribune Media Services)

This cartoon from Dan Wasserman represents many things of the rhetorical triangle. The biggest representation of the triangle is pathos because it is trying to show the audience/skeptics that global warming is true. It is done by showing one guy saying "Global warming does seem harder and harder to deny" as well as there being a sign stating that they're at the north pole with two otters playing beach volleyball in the background. Not only is there a beach volleyball game going on though, there is also two polar bears sun tanning while listening to the radio by a beach. This cartoon shows the fact that Al Gore could have been correct about Global Warming and that it is a problem needed to be fixed.
